TAM BRAZIL AIRPASS - 2009

CONCEPT AND USE
TAM Brazil AIRPASS was created for foreign and Brazilian nationals residing abroad who wish to travel within Brazil on flights operated by TAM (JJ) at an attractive rate.
To purchase the TAM Brazil AIRPASS, the passenger should:
- purchase an international ticket commencing outside of Brazil, destination: any city in Brazil;
request the airpass, which is issued in conjunction with the international ticket;
- A maximum of 9 (nine) coupons are offered for travel in economy class.

Discounts
- INF: 10% of adult fare.
- CHD: not applicable, children pay adult fare.
Minimum/Maximum Stay
- Minimum: Not applicable.
- Maximum: 30 days, from departure date of first leg.
Baggage Allowance
- Baggage allowance for domestic legs covered by TAM Brazil AIRPASS will be the same as permitted on the international routes.
- In the event of excess baggage, 1% of the “Y” fare for the leg involved will be charged per extra kilo.
Validity
- Ticketing: From 01 January 2009 until 31 December 2009.
- Travel: From 01 January 2009 until 10 June 2010.
Routing
- OW/RT/CT/OJ trips are permitted.
- The trip can only be made on flights operated by JJ; not valid for flights operated by JJ* (flights operated by regional carriers with which TAM has an agreement).
- The same leg may not be flown more than once in the same direction, except for connections.
- The same city may not be used as an origin and/or destination more than once, except for connections.
Note: Ciudad del Este/Paraguay (AGT) can also be included as part of the TAM Brazilian Airpass 2009 using JJ* or PZ flights, since this city is in the Foz do Iguaçu region.
Stopovers and Connections
- Stopovers and connections are permitted; however each flight will correspond to one coupon.
- Stopovers and connections are limited to the total number of coupons purchased.
- Each flight always corresponds to one coupon.
- “Surfaces” are not considered as flight coupons.
Booking
- All legs must be confirmed before departure.
- The first letter of the fare basis indicates the reservation booking class:
- Class “O” – fare basis OBAP09JJ.
- Class “S” – fare basis SBAP09JJ or SBAP09YY.
- Class “Z” – fare basis ZBAP09JJ or ZBAP09YY.
- If the above booking classes are not available, the following classes will be permitted, at an additional cost of USD 80.00 per coupon, as follows:
- Class “O” for Class “S”,
- Class “S” for Class “Z” and
- Class “Z” for Class “Q”.
- “TAM BAP” must be entered in the “OSI” field in the reservation
Ticketing
- Full purchase: Outside of Brazil only (purchase and ticketing).
- Only one Airpass may be issued per passenger in conjunction with the international ticket (including AD/ID tickets or award tickets).
- The Airpass ticket must be issued separately and must include the international ticket number.
- The corresponding airport taxes must be charged when issuing the Airpass.
- Tickets are non endorsable
- PTA is not permitted
- TAM BAP / NON END must appear in the endorsement/restriction field
- Fare Basis – OBAP09JJ or SBAP09JJ or ZBAP009JJ or SBAP09YY or ZBAP09YY.
- Fare constructions and combinations are not permitted.
Changes
- Rebooking permitted at any time: US$ 100.00 per transaction, on condition that the same fare is maintained.
- Rerouting: Not permitted.
Cancellation / Refund
- Before departure: Fully refundable. Penalty: US$ 100.00
- After departure: Non-refundable
TAM Fidelity Program points
- The legs flown with the airpass will accumulate 90% of their full points value under the Fidelity Program.
